Day 8 is an iOS app. The download button uses a temporary link until the App Store listing is published.

Plans and billing

Day 8 Free has no subscription. In the United States, Day 8 Pro is $3.99 per month or $24.99 per year in App Store Connect, purchased inside the iOS app. The app shows the price for the person’s region. A TestFlight sandbox purchase activated Day 8 Pro. This website cannot start or cancel a subscription.

Day 8 Pro adds a leaderboard badge and one builder profile for the account. The profile stays the same when a person switches pursuits. The app does not describe the leaderboard, pursuits, or next moves as Pro-only. Prices are on the Plans page.

App Store subscriptions are billed by Apple. The subscription renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in Apple ID settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Deleting the Day 8 account does not cancel the Apple subscription.

Account deletion

Sign in with Apple creates an account for the leaderboard. This website cannot delete that account, because the marketing site does not have accounts.

  1. Open Day 8 on your iPhone.
  2. Open the leaderboard, then Leaderboard settings, then Delete account.
  3. Confirm deletion. This removes the signed-in account, including the leaderboard name, verified days, builder profile, and photo. Day 8 on that phone stays. It does not cancel an Apple subscription.
  4. If deletion fails, email day.8.idea@gmail.com.

Reset Day 8 on the You tab is separate. It deletes the name, pursuits, sessions, reminders, streak, and saved next moves from that phone, and it does not delete a leaderboard account. The same facts are in the Privacy Policy.
